If the message “Don’t cover the earpiece” appears when unlocking the REDMI Note 13, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Please check whether there is any dust, dirt, or foreign objects covering the area near the top front camera and earpiece. When unlocking the phone, make sure your hands or fingers are not blocking this area.
2. Remove the phone case and check whether the prompt still appears.
3. Go to [Settings] >> [Lock screen] and check whether [Pocket mode] is enabled. If so, please turn it off.
4. Remove or replace the screen protector, then check again to see if the issue is resolved.
