Why is there no sound from one of the Xiaomi Pad Mini's speakers?

If you notice that sound is coming from only one of the Xiaomi Pad Mini’s speakers, it can be due to an audio balance setting issue rather than a hardware fault. The tablet allows you to adjust the left and right audio balance for accessibility purposes. When this setting is not centered, sound can only play from one speaker.
  1. Go to [Settings].
  2. Select [Additional settings].
  3. Tap [Accessibility].
  4. Navigate to [Hearing].
  5. Tap [Audio balance] and make sure the slider is centered. Centering ensures that both speakers can hear the sound.
