What to do if the walking path of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Pro is abnormal?

The normal route of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Pro is as follows:
On the map, a normal walking path will be a straight edge-following line or a zigzag (bow-shaped) pattern. When moving around obstacles such as table or sofa legs, the route will be circular. When avoiding irregular obstacles or escaping from being stuck, the route will appear messy, as long as the device can avoid obstacles or free itself, it is not a fault.
If the walking path of the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Pro is abnormal, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
Check the environment:
  1. Before use, tidy up the floor. Scattered objects can interfere with the device’s normal operation.
  2. Manually remove any standing water on the floor to prevent slipping, which could cause the device to skid.
Check the main unit:
  1. Check whether the caster wheels are entangled with any objects.
  2. Confirm whether the LDS (laser distance sensor) is rotating properly. Lightly press the lidar sensor cover to check whether it rebounds properly.
  3. Check for any foreign objects or hair in the LDS rotating part that can cause it to rotate poorly or stop. Remove them if present.
  4. Ensure there are no uneven or lifted stickers, or large objects placed on the surface of the device.
  5. Gently tap the bumper to confirm that it can rebound freely.
  6. Use a clean, soft cloth to wipe the structured light obstacle-avoidance module.
  7. Try restarting the main unit and test again.
