Check if the camera firmware version and Xiaomi Home App version need to be upgraded;
Go to the [Xiaomi Home] App >> Tap [Xiaomi Outdoor Camera CW100 Dual] >> Tap the three-dot icon on the right top of the screen >> Choose [Manage storage] >> Please check if the storage function is disabled or if the recording mode is set to record when motion is detected;
Format the memory card in the Xiaomi Home App (Formatting the card will erase all saved videos. Please back up important files before formatting.);
If formatting via the App fails, use a card reader to format the memory card on a computer. After formatting, power off the camera, insert the memory card again, and restart the camera;
In most cases, failure to record is related to the memory card itself. Please try replacing it with a high-quality card and see if the issue persists.
