Why do the photos printed with the Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro have vertical lines?

The Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro can produce vertical lines on prints for the following reasons:
  1. If the vertical lines are light scratches visible only when reflected by light, this can sometimes occur with home dye-sublimation photo printers and does not affect overall image quality;
  2. If the lines are obvious colored stripes running through the entire photo paper, it can be caused by dust or foreign particles trapped between the photo paper and ribbon during loading, which get stuck inside the print head. It is recommended to print several more sheets, as the particles will usually be cleared after a few prints.
Note:
  1. The suitable printing temperature for the printer is between 5°C and 35°C. Printing quality can be affected if the ambient temperature is too high;
  2. Please do not use third-party ribbons or photo paper to ensure printing quality;
  3. When printing, please make sure the side with text on the photo paper is facing up and lay it flat inside the paper tray. Also, close the paper tray properly;
  4. The printer uses thermal sublimation printing technology. During printing, the print head heats up and will remain hot for some time after printing is complete. Do not touch the print head to avoid burns;
  5. During printing, the photo paper moves back and forth inside the printer four times. After printing is finished, the photo paper will be automatically ejected. Please wait patiently and do not pull the photo paper out forcibly to avoid damaging the printer;
  6. Avoid touching the glossy side of the photo paper and the plastic film of the ribbon to prevent fingerprints that could affect print quality;
  7. To ensure normal use of the printer, please use the original cable.
