Why can’t the ribbon be removed from the Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro?

To remove the ribbon from the Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro, first try lifting the orange clip on the ribbon, then press the clip down to see if the ribbon can be pushed out.
If this doesn’t work, try the following:
  1. Place the printer on a flat surface. After opening the ribbon compartment door, ensure the orange clip is facing downward. Under normal conditions, the ribbon will eject automatically;
  2. Sometimes the ribbon won’t eject if the compartment door isn’t fully opened;
  3. If the ribbon cannot be removed due to an abnormal power outage during the last use, power on the printer before attempting to remove the ribbon.

Always handle the ribbon gently to avoid damaging the printer’s internal mechanisms during removal.
