When the Xiaomi smart camera has a stuck or unclear picture, you can do the following to troubleshoot:
1. Adjust the resolution mode of the camera. The corresponding mode can be set on the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP. If HD is selected and HD has high requirements for network fluency and bandwidth, it is recommended to switch to auto mode, that is, automatically switch the resolution (switch between HD and smooth) or smooth mode according to the current network status;
2. If the auto or smooth mode has been selected but there is still a freeze, it is because the current Wi-Fi network is in a poor state and is severely congested. You need to check the Wi-Fi router.
You can do the following checks:
(1) If the surrounding signal interference is serious, you can adjust the working channel and frequency bandwidth of the Wi-Fi router;
(2) There are too many devices connected to the Wi-Fi router, resulting in excessive router load and insufficient network bandwidth allocation;
(3) The camera is far away from the Wi-Fi router, the signal is weak, and the network data transmission is unstable;
(4) You can use a mobile phone to create a hotspot for testing.
