Why can't the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite be charged?

If your Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite is not charging, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some common causes and solutions:
1. Ensure that the charger is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Test the charger with another device (if compatible) to confirm it's working. Check for any visible damage to the charger or cable;
2. Connect the power adapter to the power source but do not connect it to the scooter. Check the LED indicator of the power adapter. If it turns red or does not turn on (green is normal), then the power adapter needs to be replaced;
3. Make sure there is no dirt, dust, or debris inside the scooter’s charging port;
4. If the scooter has not been used for a long time and has not been charged, it is very likely that the battery has over-discharged. Try leaving the scooter plugged in for several hours and check if it starts charging;
5. If the battery temperature is too high or too low, the thermometer icon will be on. In this case, the scooter cannot be charged. Charge the scooter after its battery temperature returns to the normal operating range.
If none of the above works, the issue might be with the charging circuit, battery, or internal components. Please contact the after-sales service for further inspection and repair.
