How to set the phone to lock screen when the device goes offline?
Offline Device Lock helps protect your device and data if it is lost or stolen, even when the device is offline. The purpose of this feature is to lock the device remotely to prevent unauthorized access and protect sensitive information.
To set the phone to lock screen when the device goes offline, please refer to the following steps:
1. Open the [Settings] APP;
2. Swipe down to find and select [Google];
3. Tap [All services];
4. Select [Theft protection];
5. Tap [Offline Device Lock];
6. Tap [Turn on], the screen will lock shortly after your device goes offline to help protect your data.
Note:
1. You need to be actively using your device while it is unlocked;
2. The screen can be locked up to twice a day.
