The precautions that should be taken are as follows:
1. Do not substitute edible salt or industrial salt for the dishwasher salt. Otherwise, the water softener will become damaged and no longer be used;
2. To add dishwasher salt, unscrew the water softener cap counterclockwise to remove it. For the first use, add about 500g, and manually pour water while stirring until the softener is filled. Make sure the liquid is not overflowing. After the dishwasher salt is added, it is recommended to run the dishwasher in the Rapid mode with no load. For the subsequent adding, add directly to the water softener. It is normal to find the water softener full of water;
3. It is available for use several times after filling the dishwasher salt;
4. Using the dishwasher without salt does not affect cleaning performance. The dishwasher salt primarily helps soften water and prevent scaling.
