How to turn on the Wide Dynamic Range mode of the Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW300?
The Wide Dynamic Range mode is an image optimization feature of the Xiaomi Outdoor Camera AW300, and it is turned on by default to optimize the contrast between bright and dark areas. When this feature is enabled, more details of the dark or overexposed parts of the image will be preserved.
To enable the Wide Dynamic Range mode, please refer to the following steps:
1. Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP;
2. Select the camera;
3. Tap the three dots icon in the upper right corner;
4. Tap [Camera settings];
5. Select [Image settings];
6. Tap [Wide Dynamic Range mode] and toggle on the switch.
Note:
1. WDR won’t work when the camera is in the night vision mode;
2. WDR will affect the color of the timestamp.
