11. Q: How to install and remove the bezel of the Xiaomi Watch S4?

A: To install and remove the bezel of the Xiaomi Watch S4, please refer to the following steps:
1. Place your index finger and thumb on the side edges of the bezel at the 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock positions respectively, or press your palm flat against the bezel. Rotate counterclockwise with force at an angle (approximately 20 degrees) until it can no longer move;
2. Pinch the bezel vertically upward with both fingers to remove the bezel component;
3. Take the replacement bezel component and align the solid alignment point on the inside of the bezel with the hollow alignment point at the 12 o’clock position on the watch body. Place it horizontally onto the watch body until it clicks into place;

In daily use, the bezel can occasionally be difficult to remove under the following scenarios:
1. If the bezel is new and unused but difficult to remove, it is recommended to wrap the bezel with a tissue or a thin glasses cleaning cloth to increase friction for removal. If it still cannot be removed, please contact after-sales support for assistance;
2. If the bezel has been used regularly, with repeated removal and installation, start by wrapping the bezel with a tissue or a thin glasses cleaning cloth to increase friction for removal. If the bezel is removable but difficult to detach, clean it using a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to remove any debris. If the bezel remains stuck and cannot be removed, it is advised to contact after-sales support for assistance;
3. If the bezel becomes difficult to remove after heavy sweating, due to the design of the bezel's detachable structure, gaps can exist between the bezel and the watch body. After intense exercise and heavy sweating, it is recommended to use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to clean sweat or dirt from inside the bezel to prevent the accumulation of sweat salts that can hinder smooth removal and installation. 11.1 Q: Is the new bezel of the Xiaomi Watch S4 compatible with the previous generation?

A: The Xiaomi Watch S4 bezel is structurally compatible with the Xiaomi Watch S3. However, it cannot fully trigger the exclusive watch face features. When the Xiaomi Watch S4 bezel is installed on the previous generation’s device, it can only activate the corresponding special watch face styles designed for the previous generation’s bezel.
 

11.2 Q: Why does the Xiaomi Watch S4 keep vibrating and won't stop after the bezel is removed?

A: To prevent the bezel from being accidentally lost, when the bezel is removed, the Xiaomi Watch S4 will vibrate and display a "Bezel has been removed" reminder, as shown in the image below.

If you want to exit the vibration mode, press the rotating crown or the power button on the watch, or tap/swipe the screen.
After exiting vibration, there are two display scenarios: before and after the first three removals.

A: The Xiaomi Watch S4 must be paired with the Mi Fitness APP before use. The APP is available for both iOS and Android under the same name and can be downloaded from the application store. 2. If the security code appears on the watch but not on your phone, check the notification bar on your phone for the pairing request;
3. If you cannot find the watch during the device addition process or if the watch cannot connect during use, try pressing and holding the power button on the watch for 3 seconds, selecting [Factory reset] from the system menu, and then try pairing again.

 

2. Q: How to rebind the Xiaomi Watch S4?

A: To bind with a different Xiaomi Account: Perform a factory reset on the Xiaomi Watch S4, then use a new phone to rebind the watch.
To bind with the same Xiaomi Account on a new phone, while the watch is still connected to the original phone, go to the [Settings] on the watch, select [System] and then tap [Connect new phone] to rebind the watch with the new phone.

1. In an environment with obstructions, when the watch and the phone are 5-8 meters apart, the Bluetooth will automatically disconnect;
2. In an open area or a corridor, when the watch and the phone are 20 meters apart, the Bluetooth will automatically disconnect;

A: Please go to [Settings] >> [Display] >> [Raise to wake] >> [Off], [All day] or [Scheduled]. When you select [Scheduled], you need to configure the start time and end time of raising to wake according to your needs.

Within a safe distance, the watch can be used as an identity ID to replace the input of the unlock password or pattern, which greatly improves the convenience of operation while ensuring security.

2. After the lock screen password is set, confirm the unlock on the watch to successfully bind. You can choose the unlock distance (close, moderate, slightly far). If you want to unbind the watch, you need to disable the Bluetooth device unlocking function in the phone system settings.
