What to do if the Xiaomi router Mesh networking fails?

If the Xiaomi router wireless Mesh networking fails, please refer to the following methods:
1. Check and update your router’s firmware to ensure it is running the latest version;
2. Confirm that the wireless network setup method is correct. Refer to the provided note for proper instructions;
3. Ensure the secondary router is within approximately 1 meter of the main router, then reset the secondary router and try again;
4. If you used the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP for setup, try using the web interface instead;
5. Set up a wired Mesh network first, then remove the Ethernet cable to switch to a wireless Mesh network;
6. Swap the main router and secondary router, and try the setup again;
7. Configure the secondary router as a standalone router to see if it functions properly. If it cannot be configured, please contact the after-sales service for further assistance;
8. If the secondary router works individually but cannot be networked, please submit feedback via your phone.

1. To set up a wired Mesh networking, please refer to the following steps:
(1). Reset the satellite router to the factory settings, and then power it on. Wait until the satellite router's system indicator turns blue, and its Internet indicator turns orange;
(2). Connect the network cable to the satellite router's any port (or WAN port) and the main router's any port (or LAN port), then the Internet indicator of the main router will begin to blink quickly (two blinks per second), indicating the Mesh networking starts;
(3). When the Internet indicator of the satellite router turns blue, the Mesh networking via cable is successfully completed.
2. To set up a wireless Mesh networking, please refer to the following steps:
(1). Reset the satellite router to the factory settings, and then power it on;
(2). When the satellite router's system indicator turns blue, the main router will automatically discover the satellite router, and the Internet indicator of the main router will blink slowly (one blink per second);
(3). Press the Mesh button on the top of the main router, and the Internet indicator will begin to blink quickly (two blinks per second), indicating the Mesh networking starts;
(4). When the Internet indicator of the satellite router turns blue, the networking is successfully completed. Then place the satellite router in the room that needs network coverage.
