What to do if the Xiaomi Smart Humidifier fail to connect to the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP?

If the humidifiers fail to connect with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP, please refer to the following details:
1. Please check whether the Wi-Fi password is correct and ensure that the password is in English formats with numbers and letters;
2. Please use a phone or the computer connected with the Wi-Fi to turn on a website to check whether the router is normal;
3. Check whether the distance between router and the device is too far (over 5 meters or there is a wall between them). You can place the router in the distance of 1 to 2 meters with the device and try to reconnect;
4. You can connect the hotspot of a phone and check whether it is normal;
5. Check whether the router is connected to too many devices, leading to the slow network speed and no response of the router. You can restart the router and try it;
6. The humidifier does not support corporate EAP 802.1x authentication networks, 5G signal networks, or public WiFi networks that require web authentication;
7. You can try to change a phone to connect or reinstall the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP and update to the latest version;
8. When you need to reconnect, it is recommended to reset the humidifier Wi-Fi and reconnect. To reset the humidifier, please press and hold the switch button for 3 seconds. When you hear a beep sound and the Wi-Fi indicator flashes, it means the reset is successful and you are waiting for the connection. You can enter the mobile phone APP to reconnect the Wi-Fi and bind the device.
