The SMS verification cannot be received when using a Xiaomi account

There are several reasons why SMS cannot be received:
1. You have previously reported such notification messages to the carrier as spam, causing the SMS to be blocked by the carrier. You will need to contact the carrier to resolve this issue;
2. You have set strict message filtering rules in the phone’s SMS settings. Check the SMS blacklist settings. Go to [Phone] >> tap three-dot at the upper right corner >> [Settings] >> check [Caller ID and spam] and [Blocked numbers];
3. The browser's security level can be set too high, or it will be blocking "third-party cookies and site data." Reset the browser's security level or disable the [Block third-party cookies] setting. Go to [Chrome] >> tap three-dot at the upper right corner >> [Settings] >> [Privacy and security] >> [Third-party cookies] >> disable [Block third-party cookies];
4. To avoid SMS spamming and resource waste, each Xiaomi account can send a maximum of 10 SMS per day, and each phone number can send up to 10 SMS per day. You cannot log in to services that require phone verification for the rest of the day;
5. Due to network or regional issues, there will be some delay in receiving the verification message sent by the server. Please wait patiently or retry after the countdown is completed.
