A gyroscope, also known as an angular velocity sensor, is a device used to sense and maintain direction. It is designed based on the theory of angular momentum conservation.
The gyroscope primarily consists of a rotor at the axis that can rotate. Once the gyroscope begins to spin, due to the rotor's angular momentum, it tends to resist changes in direction.
The gyroscope sensor has the following main functions on mobile phones:
1. Navigation: When driving or in city dead zones where GPS signals cannot be received, the gyroscope can measure the current deflection angle to adjust the driving or walking direction and continue navigation;
2. Image stabilization in photography: The gyroscope can measure the phone's tilt angle and reduce the impact of shake during video recording through software;
3. Gaming: It allows control of the phone's direction and view through small tilts and deflections.
If there is an issue with the gyroscope, please refer to the following methods to troubleshoot:
1. The gyroscope is mainly used by third-party applications. If you encounter issues, first perform a hardware test. If the gyroscope passes the hardware test, troubleshoot based on third-party APP compatibility issues;
2. If the gyroscope fails the test, please contact the after-sales customer service.
