If the Mi Fitness APP or watch fails to locate your position when starting an outdoor cycling session, please check whether the APP has location permissions enabled. For example, on a Xiaomi phone: Open the [Mi Fitness] APP >> [Profile] >> [App permissions] >> [Access location] >> [App permissions] >> [Location] >> select [Allow all the time]. Additionally, ensure you are in an open area with minimal surrounding buildings when starting the outdoor cycling session. If the issue persists, try unbinding and re-binding your phone to determine if the problem is related to the phone's location services.
