What is VO2 Max in the Mi Fitness APP?

VO2 Max refers to the maximum volume of oxygen that the human body can take in per minute during exercise, measured in (mL/kg/min). Endurance exercise relies on oxygen. Under the same conditions, the more oxygen the human body can take in and use, the more sugar or fat it can burn, providing more power for exercise, and the higher its VO2 Max. The data of VO2 Max is correlated with endurance exercise ability. If you have higher VO2 Max, you will have better endurance exercise potential.
The way of getting the data of VO2 Max is listed below:
Wear a wearable device to start an outdoor running exercise (outdoor running initiated from the Mi Fitness APP on the mobile phone will not generate VO2 Max). During the exercise, the heart rate is at a relatively high level and lasts for a certain period of time. After the exercise, you can view your VO2 Max data. If the VO2 Max is still empty after the exercise, the intensity of this exercise is relatively low and does not meet the algorithm value conditions. You can try again next time.
Note:
You need to input your information such as height, weight and age. The data of VO2 Max is displayed in a range from Very poor to Outstanding.
The VO2 Max rating is based on your age, gender, and VO2 Max value. To ensure that the system gives you an accurate rating, please confirm that the age and gender information filled in the Mi Fitness APP are correct.
