How to use the child lock of the Xiaomi Smart Water Dispenser (Hot and Cold)?
Please refer to the following details to use the child lock of the water dispenser:
1. Water temperature below 50℃: The child lock function is off, but the child lock indicator is on;
2. Water temperature equal to or above 50℃: The child lock function is on by default, and press and hold the child lock button for 2 seconds to unlock the child lock. Press the child lock button again to lock the child lock, or wait for the child lock to be locked automatically after no operation for 3 minutes;
3. When the child lock is unlocked, press and hold the child lock button for 5 seconds until a buzzer sound is heard to cancel the child lock function. Press and hold the child lock button for 5 seconds again until the child lock indicator blinks 3 times to enable the function;
4. You can also turn on or turn off the child lock in [Mi Home/Xiaomi Home] >> [Xiaomi Smart Water Dispenser (Hot and Cold)] >> three-dot icon on the right top of the screen >> [Child lock].
Note:
The child lock function is designed to prevent the children from being burned. When the water is above 50℃, and there is no operation for 3 minutes, the child lock will be locked automatically. Press and hold the child lock button to unlock it. You can refer to the user manual to delete according to your needs.
