How to set the infrared night vision function of the Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3S?
Go to the [Mi Home/Xiaomi Home] APP >> select [Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3S] >> tap the three-dot icon at the upper right corner >> [Doorbell settings] >> [Infrared night vision] >> set it as you need.
The setup is completed just on the APP, and the doorbell needs to be triggered by pressing the doorbell or by someone moving before the doorbell comes online again to take effect.
Note:
1. The Xiaomi Smart Doorbell 3S infrared night vision light is invisible to the eyes;
2. When the infrared night vision is set in auto mode, the doorbell decides to shoot black-and-white or color videos according to the ambient light;
3. When the infrared night vision is set to always-on mode, the doorbell will always shoot black-and-white videos, which has nothing to do with the ambient light. This is a normal phenomenon;
4. When the infrared night vision is set as always-off mode, the doorbell will always take color videos, but when there is no light in front of the doorbell, the videos taken by the doorbell will be dark. The dark one is also colored, which is the same as what naked eyes see in the dark. At the same time, the naked eyes can't see the environmental objects.
