Currently in Mexico there are 314 MHz assigned for the provision of mobile broadband services in Mexico, this spectral amount is distributed among the operators: Telcel, AT&T, Movistar and Wireless Access Services (SAI).
The generations of mobile phone technology currently used in Mexico are GSM (2G), GPRS (2.5G), EDGE (2.75G), UMTS (3G), HSDPA (3.5G), HSUPA (3.75G), HSPA+ ( 3.9G) and LTE (4G).
