Why can't my device connect to the network?

Make sure your router's connection is password protected and the router you’re trying to connect to is yours. Mi Home devices can’t connect to unencrypted public networks (e.g., in offices, hotels, etc.).
Your router’s encryption method should be WPA/WPA2. WEP and WAPI encryption methods aren't currently supported.
Note that only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is supported.
If the info above didn’t help, check your network settings or reboot the router.
