To resolve the issue, please check the following:
1. Ensure the rice-to-water ratio is in accordance with the scale lines inside the inner pot;
2. The inner pot has different scale lines for cooking rice and porridge. The scale lines indicate the water level, and the numbers represent the quantity of rice in cups;
Note:
1. The maximum scale for rice is 3 cups. Do not add water beyond the 3-cup rice mark to avoid the risk of overflow;
2. Choose the appropriate setting according to your needs and do not exceed the maximum water level in the inner pot (3 cups of rice) to prevent overflow.
3. The quick cooking and precision cooking modes are only suitable for cooking rice. For porridge, select the porridge mode to avoid overflow from using the wrong mode;
4. When cooking mixed grain porridge, connect to the Mi Home app and follow the recipe to avoid exceeding the cooking capacity which can cause overflow;
5. After cooking, clean the inner lid and steam valve regularly. Remove any food residues from the steam valve to prevent blockage, which can cause steam pressure to build up and result in some soup being ejected.
