1.What is family sharing?
"Family Share" allows you and other five family members to easily share Mi cloud service storage space and other services.After joining family sharing and opening cloud space sharing, family members can share the organizer's Mi cloud space.When sharing cloud space, the organizer needs to upgrade to a Platinum or diamond member of Mi cloud service to share cloud space with family members.
2.What can family members share?
Cloud space sharing.
One member of the family acts as the family sharing organizer, and up to 5 family members can be invited to join to create a family group.Then select the functionality you want to share, and you can share the Mi Cloud space for family members to use.After all family members join the family and open the shared cloud space, the sharing function is set up.More home sharing features are in the works, so stay tuned.
3.How to start family sharing?
On Mi phone, please go to "Setting" > "Mi account" > Mi cloud service" > "Family share" and click "start using".
Note:
The organizer needs to upgrade to platinum or diamond membership before the "Cloud Space" sharing function can be enabled.
After upgrading to platinum or diamond membership, you can not only improve their cloud space, but also use the family sharing function to share the expanded space with your family members.
4.Organizer manages family sharing
Add family members
- On mobile phone, go to "Setting" > "Mi account" > "" Mi cloud service" > "Family share".
- Click "+ add family members" to invite family members via Mi account or WeChat.
Deletion family members
- On mobile phone, go to "Setting" > "Mi account" > "" Mi cloud service" > "Family share".
- In the member list, click "Family member" > "Delete family member" to be deleted.
Dissolve family group
- On mobile phone, go to "Setting" > "Mi account" > "" Mi cloud service" > "Family share".
- In the member list, click on organizer > to "Dissolve family group".
Note :
Each family member can change the family composition three times within 12 months.
Other relative questions:
1.After I join the family, can people see my photo data?
No.Data is not shared among family members, and personal data storage between families is not visible to each other.
2.Isn't the organizer allowed to invite members?
No. In a family group, only the organizer can invite members.
3.I have already purchased the membership. Will the membership space still be usable after I join the family?
After joining the family, you can choose to turn off cloud space sharing and continue to use your membership space.If you choose to enable cloud space sharing, then you will share the organizer's cloud space with your members. The member space you purchased will not be available and the membership term will remain unchanged.During the term of membership, if the cloud space sharing is closed, it can continue to be used.
4.I am the organizer. How many family members can I invite to join?
One family group has a maximum of 6 family members. You can invite 5 members to join.
