LEI JUN

Founder, Chairman, CEO

Lei Jun, aged 52, is an Executive Director, the Founder, the Chairman and the CEO of the Company. He is also a member of the Remuneration Committee. Lei Jun is responsible for the Company’s overall corporate strategy, company culture and key products. He oversees the senior management team. Lei Jun currently holds directorships in various subsidiaries, Consolidated Affiliated Entities and operating entities of the Group. Lei Jun is a renowned angel investor in mainland China. Lei Jun joined Kingsoft Corporation Limited (SEHK Stock Code: 3888) in 1992 and has held various senior positions in Kingsoft, including as the chairman of the board since July 2011, non-executive director since August 2008 and the chief executive officer between 1998 and December 2007. From July 2011 to March 2018, Lei Jun was the chairman of Cheetah Mobile Inc. (NYSE ticker: CMCM). From July 2011 to August 2016, Lei Jun was the chairman of JOYY Inc. (NASDAQ ticker: YY). From December 2011, Lei Jun has served as a director of Beijing Kingsoft Office Software, Inc. (Sci-Tech Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange ticker: 688111). From April 2015, Lei Jun has been the chairman of the board of Kingsoft Cloud Holdings Limited (NASDAQ ticker: KC). Lei Jun received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Wuhan University on July 1, 1991. He has been a member of the board of Wuhan University since November 2003. Lei Jun was elected as one of the 2017 Top 10 Economic Personages of China, and one of 100 outstanding private entrepreneurs at the 40th anniversary of the China’s reform and opening-up. In 2020, Lei Jun was honored with title of “National Advanced Individual of Private Economy Fighting against COVID-19” and title of “Beijing Model Worker”.

LIN BIN

Co-Founder, Vice Chairman

Lin Bin, aged 54, is an Executive Director, a Co-founder and Vice Chairman. He is also a member of the Nomination Committee. Lin Bin currently holds directorships in various subsidiaries of the Group. Lin Bin co-founded Xiaomi with Lei Jun in 2010. He served as President of Xiaomi until 2019 when he took the role of Vice Chairman of the Company. During the early phase of Xiaomi’s development, Bin was responsible for HR recruiting, legal and finance operation, strategic partnerships with key suppliers, and overseas market expansion in countries like India, Indonesia etc. As the company grew, Bin also oversaw the company’s domestic sales and marketing, after-sales services operations, and Xiaomi’s smartphone business. Lin Bin had served as an Engineering Director at Google Inc. between 2006 and 2010. Before this, he had worked at Microsoft Corporation from 1995 to 2006 and served various roles such as Software Design Engineer (SDE), SDE Lead, SDE Manager, and Engineering Director. Prior to this, Lin Bin worked as a network engineer at ADP Inc. since May 1993. Lin Bin has held numerous visiting and adjunct professorships, including visiting professor at Zhejiang University in 2002, visiting professor at Tongji University in 2002, adjunct professor at Nankai University from 2002 to 2005 and adjunct professor at Sun Yat-sen University from 2005 to 2008. He currently sits on the Board of Advisors of the Tufts University School of Engineering. Lin Bin received a Bachelor of Science in Radio Electronics from Sun Yat-sen University in July 1990, and a Master of Science from Drexel University in June 1992.

LU WEIBING

Partner, Senior Vice President

Lu Weibing, aged 47, is Partner and Senior Vice President of the Group, and President of the China Region, President of the International Department and General Manager of the Redmi brand. He is responsible for sales management of the China Region and the International Department, as well as branding, product planning, manufacturing, and sales & marketing of Redmi. Lu Weibing joined the Group in January 2019 and has since led the team and launched a number of highly successful products. Among them, the sales volumes of many hit record highs, and three smartphone models were listed as the world's top 10 best-selling mobile phones. In November 2019, he was appointed as President of the China Region. Relying on years of marketing experience and profound insights, he led the team and formulated the strategic goals and business directions, and achieved very positive outcomes. In August 2020, he was promoted to be Partner of the Group. In March 2021, he was also appointed as President of the International Department. From June 2017 to December 2018, Lu Weibing founded Shenzhen Chenyee Technology Co., Ltd., and served as CEO of the organization. Between April 2010 and June 2017, he served as President of Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd. From January 2008 to March 2010, he worked at Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. as General Manager of the Overseas Business Department. From July 1998 to December 2007, he worked as Sales General Manager of Shenzhen Konka Telecommunications Co., Ltd. Lu Weibing graduated from Tsinghua University in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, and received his EMBA degree from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) in 2009.

LIU DE

Co-Founder, Senior Vice President

Liu De, aged 49, is Executive Director, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of the Group, and Minister of the Group Leadership Management Department. Liu De joined the Group in 2010 and was in charge of several business functions including the smartphone supply chain, industrial design, and ecosystem business. Currently he is Minister of the Group Leadership Management Department and is responsible for organizational structure design and improvement, selection, training and performance assessment of the intermediate and senior staff, and the development of key talents which facilitates the future development of the Group. Liu De established the Industrial Design Department at University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2001, where he served as the dean. From 2003 to 2007, he founded and operated Beijing Xinfengrui Industrial Design Co., Ltd.; from 2007 to 2010, he founded and operated Rethink Concept. Those experiences equipped him with full entrepreneurial preparedness and rich design practice. Liu De graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design in July 1996 and in March 2001 he obtained a master's degree in Mechanical Design and Theory from the same institute. In April 2010, he graduated from ArtCenter College of Design in the US and received a master's degree in Industrial Design.

ZENG XUEZHONG

Senior Vice President

Zeng Xuezhong, aged 49, is Senior Vice President of the Group and President of the Smartphone Department. He is responsible for the R&D and manufacturing of smartphones. Prior to joining the Group in July 2020, Zeng Xuezhong served as Senior Vice President of ZTE Corporation and President of ZTE China Region, ZTE Executive Vice President and CEO of ZTE Terminal. He also held senior management positions including Global Executive Vice President of Tsinghua Unigroup, and Chairman and General Manager of HatChip Communications Technology Ltd. As a leading expert in corporate management and the communications industry, Zeng Xuezhong has rich experience in corporate strategy, innovation and transformation. Zeng Xuezhong obtained a bachelor's degree from the Department of Physics of Tsinghua University in 1996 and later received an EMBA degree from the same institute.

YAN KESHENG

Vice President

Yan Kesheng, aged 52, is Vice President of the Group, General Manager of the Smart Manufacturing Department. He is responsible for smart manufacturing solutions at the system level. Yan Kesheng joined the Group in October 2010, and was head of the Smartphone Hardware R&D Department. He fully engaged in processes including defining and manufacturing of smartphones, and established several departments including the Smartphone Core Component Department, the Group Quality Committee and Qinghe University. Prior to joining the Group, Yan Kesheng worked as Principal Structural Design Engineer at Motorola Technology Co., Ltd. and VTech Telecommunications Limited. Yan Kesheng graduated from Hefei University of Technology with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Machinery Manufacturing and Repair in July 1992.

Lam Sai Wai, Alain

Vice President

Alain Lam, aged 48, is Vice President and CFO of the Group, and Chairman of Airstar Digital Technology. Prior to joining the Group, Alain worked at Credit Suisse as Managing Director and Head of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Group of the Investment Banking division starting from January 2016 to October 2020. From July 1997 to December 2015, Alain worked at Morgan Stanley in the London, New York, Menlo Park and Hong Kong offices. Alain was responsible for leading many US IPO projects including those of Kingsoft Cloud, XPeng Motors and Pinduoduo, as well as Hong Kong IPO projects including those of Alibaba, Xiaomi, and NetEase. Alain graduated from University of Oxford with a master's degree in Engineering.

Zhu Dan

Vice President

Né en février 1978, Zhu Dan a obtenu un Master en contrôle automatique de l'Institut de technologie de Pékin en 2003. Il est Vice-Président du groupe et Vice-Président de la recherche et du développement pour le service Smartphones. Zhu Dan a rejoint le groupe en 2010 et a été responsable du service Bande de base, du service Produits, du service Appareils photo et du service Écrans. Tous font partie du service Smartphones du groupe. De 2016 à 2018, il était chargé de la planification des produits au sein du service Produits pour smartphones. De 2018 à 2021, il était responsable de la gestion de la recherche et du développement et de la feuille de route technique pour le service Appareils photo et a dirigé le service Appareils photo. Il a ainsi décroché la première place du classement DXO à deux reprises. Avant de rejoindre le groupe, Zhu Dan a travaillé au centre Motorola en Asie du Nord d'octobre 2003 à octobre 2008 en tant qu'ingénieur en recherche et développement. Zhu Dan a travaillé pour Firebrand Technology Co., Ltd. d'octobre 2008 à octobre 2010 en tant que Directeur de la Recherche et du Développement du service Bande de base, où il était responsable de la Recherche et du Développement et de la gestion des téléphones mobiles.

Wang Xiaoyan

Vice-Président

Né en février 1974, Wang Xiaoyan a obtenu une licence en physique de la Beijing Normal University (BNU) en 1994 et un MBA de l'université Renmin de Chine en 1999. Il est Vice-Président du groupe et président de la région Chine. Wang Xiaoyan a rejoint le groupe en 2019 et a été responsable des services Commerce électronique et des Ventes et opérations, du nouveau service Vente au détail et du service Opérateurs pour la Chine. Il a joué un rôle décisif dans la stabilisation et le développement de la nouvelle activité de vente au détail pour la Chine malgré un environnement extérieur défavorable. Avant de rejoindre le groupe, il a accumulé 20 ans d'expérience dans le secteur des communications. Il a développé la marque de smartphones Xiaolajiao de 2010 à 2019 et occupé le poste de Directeur commercial senior chez Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. de 2006 à 2010. Il a travaillé chez ZTE de 1999 à 2005.

Qu Heng

Vice-Président

Né en octobre 1981, Qu Heng a obtenu un diplôme en informatique et en ingénierie à l'université Beihang en 2003 ainsi qu'un Master en informatique et en ingénierie de l'Institut de technologie de Harbin en 2013. Il est Vice-Président du groupe et Président du Comité technologique du groupe. Il est responsable du Comité qualité et du Comité achats du groupe. Qu Heng a rejoint le groupe en 2010 et est l'un des membres de l'équipe fondatrice de Xiaomi. Il a été responsable de MIUI et du développement de MiTalk, tout en endossant des rôles tels que celui d'ingénieur système routeur. Après être devenu Directeur Général du service Écosystème en 2018, Qu Heng a dirigé l'équipe travaillant sur une configuration intelligente de l'écosystème centrée sur les smartphones et la mise en œuvre de la stratégie « Smartphone x AIoT » du groupe, afin de positionner Xiaomi comme la plus grande plate-forme IoT grand public au monde. Avant de rejoindre le groupe, il a travaillé chez Beijing Kingsoft Co., Ltd. d'avril 2005 à avril 2010. Il a occupé divers postes tels qu'ingénieur, responsable du développement et chef de projet, et a ainsi accumulé une grande expérience en développement de logiciels et en gestion de projets.

Ma Ji

Vice-Président

Né en août 1978, Ma Ji a obtenu un Master en informatique et en ingénierie à l'université du Zhejiang en 2002. Il est vice-président du groupe et directeur général du nouveau service Vente au détail pour la Chine. Ma Ji a rejoint le groupe en 2013 et a été responsable du Centre de sécurité MIUI, des produits MIUI et des activités internationales de Xiaomi en lien avec Internet. Il a dirigé l'équipe facilitant l'internationalisation des produits et services Internet de MIUI et Xiaomi. Il a assumé le poste de directeur général du service Internet en décembre 2020, en devenant responsable des produits et services Internet internationaux de Xiaomi, ainsi que de la commercialisation. En janvier 2023, Ma Ji a été nommé vice-président du groupe Xiaomi, tout en supervisant les activités du groupe en lien avec Internet. En octobre 2023, toujours au poste de vice-président, il a assumé également les responsabilités de directeur général du nouveau service Vente au détail pour la Chine. Il gère les opérations et l'expansion de Xiaomi Store dans la région, ainsi que les opérations de mi.com et de Xiaomi Youpin.
