How to set up dual LAN link aggregation on a Xiaomi router?

The dual LAN aggregation refers to connecting two LAN ports simultaneously to a multi-port device like a NAS to combine the LAN port speeds. For example, with two Gigabit LAN ports, the speed can theoretically combine to 2000M when LAN1 and LAN2 are aggregated.
To enable LAN port aggregation, please refer to the following methods:
Method 1:
1. Open the settings interface of your router;
2. Go to the port customization in advanced settings;
3. Enable LAN aggregation and select any two ports for aggregation.
Method 2:
1. Open the settings interface of your router;
2. Go to the LAN settings in common settings;
3. Enable the LAN link aggregation.
Note:
Aggregation will not succeed if the port negotiation rates do not match. The device on the other end must support the LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol). Xiaomi routers use dynamic aggregation, so the other end must support the 802.3ad (LACP) protocol.
To use LAN port aggregation, please refer to the following steps:
1. Ensure that the computer logged into the router settings interface is not using the aggregated LAN ports, then enable this feature;
2. Ensure that the terminal device also supports and has enabled the dual LAN link aggregation feature;
3. Connect the two LAN ports of the router to the terminal device using two Ethernet cables.
Note:
Enabling or disabling guest Wi-Fi will cause the link aggregation function to fail.
