The noise from an evaporative humidifier mainly comes from the water pump and the fan. The Mijia Smart Air Purifier with Humidification Pro uses a submersible water pump and a dynamically balanced fan design. The measured sound power level in sleep mode is 31 dB(A) (equivalent to a sound pressure level as low as 14.6 dB(A)). If the operating sound in sleep mode affects sleep, it is recommended to place the device farther away.
If noise is still audible in the sleep mode of the Mijia Smart Air Purifier with Humidification Pro, please refer to the following aspects:
1. If the device produces a dripping sound, it may be caused by scale buildup inside the water tank cap or the humidifier filter, preventing water from flowing back along the designed path and causing it to drip directly into the water tank. This can be resolved by cleaning the water tank cap and cleaning or replacing the humidifier filter.
2. Place the device on a stable and level surface to avoid vibration or resonance caused by an uneven surface.
3. Check whether there are any foreign objects around the air inlet or air outlet that can cause abnormal noise.
4. If the device produces continuous abnormal sounds, please contact the after-sales service for further inspection.
Note:
The measured sound pressure level in sleep mode was 14.6 dB(A). Data comes from the internal laboratory.
