The Mijia Smart Air Purifier with Humidification Pro is equipped with a humidity detection function. The sensor is located at the back of the device. Ensure that the back of the device is not obstructed and is free from heat source interference. If different devices show different humidity readings, consider the following:
1. The device uses an imported temperature and humidity sensor that has been compared against a professional humidity tester and found to be consistent. It is recommended to place the hygrometer on top of the device for a comparison test.
2. During the initial stages of humidification, airflow may cause the humidity near the device to be higher than in more distant areas. Place the hygrometer on top of the humidifier and wait 10 minutes for the reading to stabilize before comparing. Due to differences in sensors and measurement methods between products, a variation of plus or minus 5% is considered within the normal range.
3. Check whether the humidity sensor area at the back of the Mijia Smart Air Purifier with Humidification Pro is blocked by a wall, furniture, or other objects. Keep the sensor area unobstructed to avoid affecting humidity detection.
4. Keep the device away from heat sources, such as heaters, radiators, or other devices that generate heat, as heat can affect the humidity reading.
5. If the humidity difference remains greater than ±5% after the above checks, please contact your local after-sales service center for further assistance.
