If the Xiaomi Watch 5 fails to add a bank card, please follow these steps to troubleshoot:
1. The operation failed due to network issues. Please switch to a different network and then tap Retry under the “Card activation failed” prompt.
2. Some smartphones have a built-in NFC module. If the watch is too close to the phone, the phone’s NFC may occupy the NFC writing channel, causing the operation to fail. It is recommended to turn off the phone’s NFC function or keep the watch at least 10 cm away from the phone.
3. Turn Bluetooth off on your phone and then turn it back on.
4. Close all background applications on your phone, ensure the watch and phone are properly connected, and then try recharging your Google Wallet.
5. Restart both the watch and the phone to rule out temporary link issues.
6. Make sure the watch’s system firmware and the Mi Fitness App on the paired phone are updated to the latest versions.
