Why is the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro not fully charged when I take it off the pad after charging it for a long time?
To extend the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro's lifespan and prevent battery overcharging, we have specifically designed Float protection.
Once the stylus is fully charged, the pad will stop charging it until the battery level drops to approximately 80%, at which point charging will resume until it's fully charged again. Therefore, it's possible that even though the stylus has been magnetically attached to the pad, it can not be fully charged when removed. However, you don't need to worry. 80% battery life is sufficient to support long-term use.
If you are concerned that the stylus's battery level can affect your usage, you can periodically remove the stylus from the pad and then reattach it. The stylus will then resume charging until it's fully charged.
