If there is a delay in the audio on the REDMI Buds 8 Pro, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. Bluetooth earbuds transmit audio wirelessly, which requires compression, transmission, and decompression, resulting in a certain delay. But this will not affect the quality of music and calls. It can faithfully reproduce both the sound details during calls and the rich frequency ranges in music.
2. Please check if the phone is too far from the earbuds, exceeding the effective transmission distance (10 meters), or if there are any obstacles between the earbuds and the phone, such as the phone being in the pocket.
3. Place the earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid for 5 seconds, then open the lid and reconnect the earbuds to your phone, or disconnect your phone from other Bluetooth devices.
4. Different Bluetooth protocols have different latencies. Try using a protocol with better quality.
5. If multiple routers or Bluetooth devices are used around the earbuds at the same time, it will cause varying degrees of interference. Keep the earbuds close to the device and avoid connecting the earbuds to multiple devices at the same time.
6. A system firmware issue could cause sound delay. Ensure that both the earbuds' firmware and the Xiaomi Earbuds App are updated to the latest version.
7. The audio or video player could cause a sound delay. Try using a different player to see if the same problem occurs.
8. Please reset the earbuds and then pair them again.
9. If the problem persists, please contact the local after-sales service center.
Note:
The phone's effective unobstructed connection range is 10 meters; beyond this range, connection drops may occur.
