What to do if the display is blurry when connecting a computer to the Xiaomi TV via HDMI?

Blurry display occurs because the computer’s output resolution does not match the TV’s optimal resolution. If the graphics card cannot correctly recognize the TV, it can fail to detect the optimal resolution, causing blurry or distorted images and unclear text.
If the display is blurry when connecting a computer to the Xiaomi TV via HDMI, please refer to the following information:
1. It is recommended to set the computer's resolution to the TV's default resolution (for example, 1080p). Right-click on an empty area of the desktop >> go to [Display settings] >> [Display] >> [Display resolution].
2. It is recommended that you set the computer’s refresh rate to 60 Hz. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop >> [Display settings] >> [Display] >> [Advanced display settings] >> [Display adapter properties] >> [Monitor] >> [Screen refresh rate].
Note:
Set the computer’s resolution to 1080p and the refresh rate to 60 Hz. The above steps apply to Windows 10.
3. Adjust ClearType text. ClearType is a software technology developed by Microsoft to improve text readability on LCD displays. By using ClearType font technology, on-screen text appears clearer. Go to [Control Panel] >> [Appearance and Personalization] >> [Fonts] >> [Adjust ClearType text]. The system will guide you step by step to adjust to the optimal effect.
4. On the Xiaomi TV, go to [Settings] >> [Display and sound] >> [Picture] >> [Picture mode] >> select [Monitor]. This allows the TV to display content as a monitor, reducing unnecessary image processing and improving text and image clarity.
5. Please replace the HDMI cable with a higher-quality one, as this can improve the TV’s display quality.
