1. Home surveillance playback uses event recording, which only starts recording when a human figure, moving object, or abnormal activity is detected. Therefore, the playback will present short video clips instead of a continuous recording. If this is the case, it is normal, and you can use it with confidence.
2. Poor quality or damage to the SD card, as well as incompatible formats, can cause recording errors. Please use a high-speed SD card and keep the SD card contacts clean.
3. When using NAS network storage, network instability or insufficient space can cause recording abnormalities. Please ensure that the camera and NAS are on the same stable network and have sufficient memory.
4. When using Xiaomi Home Secure, network buffering or instability can cause abnormal video recordings. Please ensure your camera is connected to a stable network and minimize channel interference.
5. Dirt or obstructions on the lens can cause blurry images. Please gently wipe the lens with a clean, soft cloth and ensure that the camera is installed in an unobstructed location.
6. Power off the device and turn it on again. Restarting the device can clear temporary software glitches.
7. If the problem persists, consider resetting the camera to factory settings by pressing and holding on the reset button for about 7 seconds until you hear a prompt.
