What to do if the laptop can't find the REDMI Buds 6 Play?

Common reasons include the REDMI Buds 6 Play not entering pairing mode correctly, Bluetooth being disabled on the laptop, or the earbuds already being connected to another device.
If your laptop can’t find your REDMI Buds 6 Play, please refer to the following troubleshooting methods:
1. Charge both earbuds and the case fully. Ensure the case has power and the buds are seated correctly.
2. Reset the earbuds. Put the earbuds into the case, open the lid. Press and hold the function button for 10 seconds until the indicator flashes to factory reset.
3. Clear the Bluetooth list on the laptop. In Bluetooth settings, remove or delete "REDMI Buds 6 Play" if it appears. Then turn off Bluetooth, wait a few seconds, and turn it on again.
4. Enter pairing mode on the buds. After resetting or opening the lid, press and hold the button for 2 seconds until the LED flashes (white).
5. Pair from the laptop. With pairing mode active, on the laptop select "Add device to Bluetooth", wait for "REDMI Buds 6 Play" to appear, then select it.
6. Check for interference and proximity. Make sure the laptop is close to the buds (within 2-3 m) and there are minimal obstacles. Ensure no other Bluetooth device is already connected to the buds.
7. Update laptop Bluetooth drivers. Especially if it's Windows, ensure Bluetooth chipset drivers are up to date. You have noted issues when drivers are outdated.
8. If it still fails, try pairing with another device (like a smartphone) to check if the buds can connect to any device. If they correctly connect to a phone but not a laptop, the laptop is likely an issue.
9. If the buds can't enter pairing mode at all (the LED won’t flash), it could be a hardware issue. Please visit our local official after-sales center for further assistance.
