If your POCO C71 suddenly shuts down while in standby but still vibrates and rings, it indicates that the phone is powered on but the display or system interface may have frozen or crashed.
Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Force restart the phone. Press and hold the power button simultaneously for about 10 seconds. Wait for the POCO logo to appear, and then release the buttons. This will reboot the system and usually restores the display function.
2. Check for display issues. After restarting, if the phone still vibrates or rings but the screen remains black, check the screen brightness or shine a light at the display to see if a faint image appears. If so, the screen may be faulty.
3. Charge the device. Connect the phone to the original charger for at least 30 minutes. Observe whether the charging indicator or vibration feedback occurs. A low or unstable battery can also cause the system to shut down unexpectedly.
4. Boot into safe mode. Press and hold the Power button to turn it on. When the POCO logo appears, immediately press and hold the Volume Down button. Keep holding it until the system finishes booting. If you see "Safe mode" at the bottom-left corner of the screen, you have successfully entered safe mode. If the issue doesn’t occur in Safe mode, a third-party app may be causing system instability. You can then uninstall recently installed apps.
5. Contact the after-sales center. If the problem persists even after resetting, it may be a hardware fault. Please visit our local official after-sales center for further assistance.
