If all recognition methods fail and the Xiaomi Self-Install Smart Lock cannot be unlocked, please refer to the following information:
1. Use the Xiaomi Home App to perform an emergency unlock. The emergency unlock first tries to unlock in one direction. After one attempt, try to open the lock. If it still cannot be unlocked, perform emergency unlock again; it will then try in the opposite direction, after which you can attempt to open the lock again.
2. If the emergency unlock still fails, use the mechanical key to unlock.
Note:
If the lock enters an abnormal state due to emergency unlock or incorrect calibration, follow the app’s calibration instructions to recalibrate. If the battery was removed for charging and reinstalled, use the lock’s one-touch lock/unlock button to restore normal operation.
