1. Location tracking is prone to failure when the robot vacuum is in a corner, under a bed, or under a sofa.
2. Location tracking failure may lead to recharging failure.
If the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum fails to locate, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. Make sure the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum firmware and the Xiaomi Home App are up to date.
2. Restart the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum and the Xiaomi Home App.
3. You can try using a remote control to start the device in an open area or on a base and start cleaning again. This helps it re-establish its location based on the dock’s position.
