What to do if the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40C still enters the restricted area after setting the virtual wall or restricted area?

If your Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40C is entering restricted areas, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
1. If the robot vacuum encounters an error or fails to locate itself, the map and virtual walls will be cleared, causing it to ignore these boundaries. In this case, reset or restore the current map in the Xiaomi Home App, then reconfigure the virtual walls and restricted areas to ensure they are recognized correctly;
2. Do not lift or relocate the robot vacuum during cleaning. This can cause localization failures, making the robot vacuum ignore previously set restricted areas or virtual walls;
3. Even if the robot vacuum successfully re-locates, its displayed position on the map can occasionally not match its actual physical location, leading it to enter restricted zones. To fix this, place the robot vacuum back on its charging dock and restart the cleaning task to recalibrate its position;
4. If the issue persists after these steps, please contact after-sales service center for further inspection.
