Several factors can cause that the Xiaomi Pad 5 fails to start up. The reasons for this issue could be low battery, system failure, or screen damage.
If the device can't turn on, please refer to the following suggestions:
1. Check whether the shutdown is caused by low battery. If so, charge it with the original charger for 15-30 minutes and try to restart it;
2. Press and hold the power button for more than 10 seconds to force restart. When booting, listen for sounds or vibrations to confirm whether the screen is damaged or too dark;
3. At the same time, press and hold the volume up button and the power button simultaneously. See if you can enter the Recovery mode. Please try to clear the data using the Recovery mode and then enter the system (all personal data will be erased);
4. If the device has suffered hardware damage due to collisions, water, or liquid infiltration, it will also fail to start up.
If none of the above methods can solve the problem, please go to the local after-sales service for testing.
Note:
Frequent deep discharging will accelerate the aging of lithium batteries. The battery is no longer able to consistently supply the voltage and current required for the device to start up. Avoid shutting down the device when the battery is completely drained and recharge it in time.
