For your reference, the insulation test process and results of the Xiaomi Straw Mug are as follows:
1. For the hot insulation, in an indoor environment with a temperature of 20°C ± 5°C, open the mug lid and leave the empty mug for 30 minutes, then add 100°C water to the lower edge line of the mug lid, and wait until the water temperature in the mug drops to 95°C ± 1°C, immediately close the mug lid tightly and start timing. After 6 hours, the water temperature is above 55°C;
2. For the cold insulation, in an indoor environment with a temperature of 20°C ± 5°C, open the mug lid and leave the empty mug for 30 minutes, then add 0°C water to the lower edge line of the mug lid, and wait until the water temperature in the mug rises to 4°C ± 1°C, immediately close the mug lid tightly and start timing. After 6 hours, the water temperature is below 10°C.
Note:
Due to differences in the objective environment or drinks' ingredients, the hot and cold insulation performance can be subject to a deviation, which is normal.
