The charging feature of Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen) adds convenience to life by allowing you to charge at home, at work or anywhere there is an electrical outlet.
If your scooter can't be charged, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that your scooter is not over-discharged. Prolonged non-use will lead to complete battery drainage, causing permanent damage;
2. Check whether the charger is properly plugged into the charging port/power outlet. Ensure the power cord is plugged into the charger or adapter properly;
3. Check whether the charger is defective by disconnecting the charger with the scooter first. Then plug the charger into the power outlet. If the charger indicator turns green, the charger is not defective;
4. Check whether the charging port of the scooter is damaged or blocked by some materials, which also leads to poor connection;
5. Try charging the scooter with another charger. And if the second charger works well, it indicates that the first one is defective;
6. If you’ve just ridden your scooter in hot weather or the battery temperature rises too high during charging, the scooter will stop charging temporarily. Please let your scooter or the battery cool down for at least 30 minutes before you plug the charger.
We hope the above methods can help you solve the problem. If your problem still exists, please contact the local after-sales service center for further assistance.
