How does it Work?
Search for your device and add it to the cart, just like when shopping online. Create an order and CompAsia will colelct your device from door step. Once your device is received, Compasia will issues payment via bank transfer.

How do I use website?
Use the search box to find your mobile model. Answer the grading questions and enter the IMEI or serial number. Complete the required information and submit your trade-in request. You will then receive pick up schedule link via email.

What happens to my mobile device?
Your device will be inspected, graded, and recycled or reused depending on its condition.

Can I do trade-in if I do not live in the TH/MY/SG?
No. Trade-in is currently limited to these countries.

How do I find out the estimated value of my mobile device?
Search for your device by name, IMEI, or serial number. After answering the questions, the estimated value will be displayed.
How is the estimated value of my old device calculated?
The valuation is based on the device model, storage and condition of the device.

Do I have to show any proof of purchase of the device I want to trade-in?
We reserve the right to request proof of purchase (e.g. a receipt) if we have doubts about the ownership or origin of the device.

Can I cancel the order of the trade-in device after completed?
No. Once device was handover to CompAsia, the process cannot be cancelled.

How do I know if my mobile device has qualified?
We accept devices in all conditions, from fully functional to those with no power. If your device cannot be found by name or do not have an IMEI, it is not eligible.

Does CompAsia buy broken or damaged mobile devices?
Yes. Devices in any condition can be traded in. The grading questions on the website will help determine condition.

What if the final value does not match the estimated value?
If your device condition matches what you declared, we will email you to confirm quotation acceptance.
If your device condition was misgraded, we will email you with a revised offer for your review.
If you decline, the order will be cancelled.
If you do not respond within 14 days, we will assume the order has been cancelled.

How do I know if my mobile device is classed as working or Damaged/Faulty?
Working:
• Fully intact, without any physical damage and a working device with battery
Faulty:
• Physical damage
• Missing parts (SIM-tray, stylus etc)
• Faulty buttons
• Faulty camera, keyboard, speaker, microphone etc
Faulty LCD:
• Faulty display/LCD
• Faulty touchscreen
• Burned-in screen (check on white background!)
• Dead pixels
• LCD is not fully covered with glass
Unrepairable:
• Faulty motherboard (PCB), heavy physical damage (for example the device is broken in half)
No power:
• Not turning on
• Does not start completely (does not boot up, freezes when turning on)
• Heavily damaged (missing LCD, built-in battery is swollen)
• Device turns on only if connected to the charger
• Device has traces of corrosion on frame, in headphone jack, in charging port and in SIM slot, which can refer
to liquid damage

How do I know the model of my mobile device?
Check in Settings > About or on the device label

What should I send with my mobile device?
Send only the device and its battery. Remove SIM and memory cards. Accessories are not required and will not increase the value.

How many mobile devices can I trade-in?
One at a time

My mobile device has a cracked screen, is this classed as working?
No. A cracked screen is considered Faulty. If the LCD is also damaged, it is classed as Faulty LCD.

My battery is flat, can I sell the mobile device as working?
The device will be tested and quoted based on the actual battery condition.

What is an IMEI number?
A unique 15-digit number that identifies your device. Dial *#06# to display it.

What if my mobile device is registered stolen or barred?
We do not accept stolen or barred devices. All devices are checked against local authority.

How do I delete all the data from my mobile device?
Factory reset your device from Settings > Reset. Remember to back up your data first.

What if my mobile device is not listed?
It may be obsolete or of no trade-in value. For newer models, contact us and we’ll check if it can be added.

How long is my order valid?
We guarantee the quoted value for 7 days from order placement.

How long does the inspection take when the Device has been received by Recommerce ?
The inspection process is carried out during collection process, Compasia will be collect the device based on the the scheduled date.

Do you return Mobile Device?
No. Unless the device price is not agree by you, and we will cancel the order.

What if I incorrectly list the model number or get the condition wrong?
We will correct the model and adjust the price accordingly. If in doubt about condition, list it as Working—but note it may be downgraded after inspection.

How do I send my mobile device?
We will collect it form you.

Are there any shipping fees?
No

Do I need to send the charger ?
No, only the device.

I forgot to remove my Memory/SIM card, what do I do?
Please contact us immediately and we will try to recover it.

Do I have to remove screen lock and password lock?
Yes. All locks must be removed before shipping. Perform a factory reset to erase data.

Payment
1. How is payment made?
Payment is made by bank transfer to the account details you provided.

2.When will I receive my payment?
Within next 7 working hours after acceptance of the trade-in offer.

3.How do I cancel / withdraw my trade-in order?
Please contact us immediately and we will try to cencel it. If order has already been processed and paid, the order cannot be cancelled.

4.What is CompAsia willing to pay for the trade-in program?
You will receive the agreed valuation if the device condition matches your submission. Final value will be subject to actual device condition.
