Why does the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 automatically shut down when the battery reaches 60%?

If the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 automatically shuts down at 60% battery, please refer to the following troubleshooting information:
  1. Make sure the band is not used in a high-temperature environment. The band has a high-temperature protection to prevent overheating”. If the high-temperature shutdown protection is triggered, you can restart the band by charging it.
  2. Try upgrading the firmware. Open the Mi Fitness App >> select [Device] >> [Update]. If a new version is available, tap to download and install the upgrade. It is also recommended to update the Mi Fitness App to the latest version.
  3. Try fully charging the band and restarting it to confirm whether it automatically shuts down at 60% battery again.
  4. After syncing your data to the Mi Fitness App, try restoring the factory settings.
