If your Mi 9T turns on/off automatically without any operation, there are a few methods you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Ensure that your smartphone's operating system is up-to-date. Software updates often include bug fixes, security patches and improvements that can address software level issues;
2. The smartphone has a feature that allows you to schedule when the phone should power on or off. Check your phone settings by going to [Settings] >> [Battery] >> [Schedule power on/off];
3. Examine your phone for any physical damage, such as water damage or a cracked screen. Physical damage can sometimes cause unexpected behavior;
4. A malfunctioning power button could send false signals to your phone, causing it to turn on/off automatically. Check if the power button is physically stuck or damaged;
5. Verify whether you installed third-party apps, such as theme, font, security/optimizer, battery manager or system launcher. These apps can not be compatible with the operating system or user interface and will cause your smartphone to turn on/off automatically. In this case, please uninstall the above-mentioned third-party apps;
6. Perform a manual restart by holding down the power button until the phone turns off, then turn it back on again. This can help resolve temporary glitches or software issues;
7. Please back up the data, log out your Xiaomi and Google accounts, and perform a factory reset;
8. Check if there is hardware issue by going to [Phone] app and inputting *#*#6484#*#* to enter the hardware detection (CIT mode).
However, if there is no hardware issue, we hope you can submit user feedback by going to [Settings] >> [Services & feedback], and wait for the future updates.
