Why is the Xiaomi Router displayed as offline in the Mi WiFi APP or the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP?

After the Xiaomi Router is bound to the Mi WiFi APP, the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP signed with the same Xiaomi Account will show the router. If the status of the router in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home APP is offline, the Mi WiFi will also show the offline status. After the router is offline, you can see the icon of connecting status in the Mi WiFi APP. After 1 minute, if the connection is still unsuccessful, it will show the offline status.
Please refer to the following details for troubleshooting:
1. Please check whether the power is connected. For example, there is a power outage in the home, or the plug is not plugged in securely or is loose, and the socket switch is on;
2. Please check the router system indicator statuses (the system indicator in some routers changes from blue to white):
(1) If the indicator keeps in blue, the system is running normally, please check step 3 and the following solutions to troubleshoot the problem;
(2) If the indicator keeps in orange, and the router is restarting, please wait patiently for 5 minutes and do not unplug the router. If the indicator flashes in orange, the router is upgrading, please wait patiently for 5 minutes and do not unplug the router. If the indicator keeps in orange for more than 5 minutes and doesn’t restore to blue, you can apply for the after-sales inspection;
(3) If the indicator keeps or flashes in red, the router is abnormal, you can try to restart (power off and then power on), reset the router (press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds), or apply for the after-sales inspection.
3. Please check whether the router network is normal.
If the network is abnormal, please refer to the following details:
(1) Please check whether the network cable is firmly connected to the WAN port and check whether the other end of the network cable is connected to the LAN port of the modem or the upper device;
(2) Please check whether the network cable is intact;
(3) Please replace the modem or the upper device’s network cable port and plug it in firmly;
(4) Please restart the modem/upper device;
(5) If the router is correctly configured, please restart the router and wait for the system to start up (the system indicator is always on);
(6) If you still cannot access the network, please contact your broadband service operator.
4. If the router is networking normally (the phone connected to the router can access the network normally), but the APP shows the offline status, please refer to the following details:
(1) Please check whether the Xiaomi Account is correct, or whether the router is reset (resetting will unbind the APP);
(2) Please contact the local after-sales service center. It can be caused by the regional network restriction or the server restrictions.
