Function Introduction:
Two Spaces (initial space and split space) are generated after the mobile phone's split function is enabled. Part of the data of the two Spaces exist independently and part of the data are the same. The details are as follows.
MI account:
1. It is suggested to log into two different xiaomi accounts in the initial space and the clone space to ensure that the data in the two Spaces are synchronized to different MI cloud services;
2. The two Spaces can also log in with the same MI account, but the cloud service function cannot be used, and the following prompt will appear on the MI cloud service interface: the cloud service is suspended. you have logged into the same account as the original space.Cloud services were suspended to prevent data confusion.
When need to backup the data, it is suggested: 1. Log in with another xiaomi account (the backup function of the cloud phone is not available); 2. Migrate the data to the initial space.
Contacts:
1. The contacts that need to be displayed in the clone space can be added to the clone space through "data migration";
2. The contact data in the initial space and the clone space are independent and do not interfere with each other. One party will edit/delete/add, while the other party will not be affected.
SMS
1. After the mobile phone is turned on, the SMS data in the initial space and the clone space are the same by default, sending/receiving SMS messages in either space, and synchronizing messages in the other space.
2. When "private SMS and contacts" is enabled, the contacts in the clone space will become private contacts, and the SMS records of these contacts will only appear in the phone clone.And the private text messages from the original space have been used, those messages will be automatically added to phone's avatar.
That is to say, when "private message and contact" is enabled, the text message of the split body space includes the message of private contact and the private message of the original space, and these two parts are not displayed in the initial space.
After entering the interface of private message in the initial space, private message cannot be viewed.
3. When a private contact person creates the same contact person as in the initial space, this contact person will become a private contact person, and the corresponding SMS record will only appear in the split body space (the contact person exists in both the split body space and the split body space).
Call records
1. There is no call record in the initial state of the dope-body space. After the creation of the dope-body space, there will be call records in both the initial space and the dope-body space.
2. If the contact name is saved in the initial space but not in the clone space, the call record in the clone space only shows the number and not the name, but the name saved in the initial space is displayed in the dialing/calling process.
photo
1. Photos that need to be displayed in the clone space can be added to the clone space through "data migration";
2. Photos that are not displayed on the photo page can be added to the dope-body space through the album page, and the same photo album can be generated in the dope-body space;
3. The photos in the initial space and the split space are independent and complementary to each other. One party shall add/delete the photos, while the other party shall not be affected.
Application
1. The applications that need to be displayed can be added in the clone space to the clone space through "data migration". The applications of the clone space after adding do not contain any data (chat records, game progress, etc.);
2. Both the initial space and the split body space can be installed respectively. By default, the application is only used in the current space after installation.
For example, if app A is installed in the initial space, app A will be used in the initial space by default.If application B is installed in the clone space, then application B will only be used in the clone space by default.But both can be set so that the application is displayed only in another space or in two Spaces at the same time.
3. No matter where the application is used, deleting the application in the current space will not affect the use of the application in the other space.
For example, after installing application A in the initial space and setting it to "use two Spaces at the same time", uninstall the application in the initial space and the application A in the split space still exists without any influence.
