Xiaomi Care 延長保養服務條款及細則
感謝您購買 Xiaomi Care 延長保養服務(下稱「本服務」)予您的小米裝置。本服務適用於指定型號的智能手機和平板電腦(詳見產品宣傳頁),以下統稱「行動裝置」。本服務由小米香港有限公司(下稱「小米」或「公司」)提供。請您仔細閱讀本條款及細則;購買本服務即視為您理解並同意所有條款。
1. 定義
a) BER(維修不合乎經濟效益):即維修成本超過行動裝置建議零售價100%,由小米官方服務中心獨立裁定。
b) 裝置建議零售價:指行動裝置在市場上市時的建議零售價。
c) 裝置購買日期:自小米實體店購買的日期。
d) 裝置交付日期:於小米商城網店購買後送達客戶的日期。
e) 延長保養:原廠保養期結束後,延長十二(12)個月保養期,包括原有產品保養範圍的機械及電子故障維修(依原廠條款及本文條款為準)。
f) 直系家庭成員:指您的配偶及/或子女。
g) 行動裝置:指定型號之智能手機及平板,只限個人使用,禁止商業、出租及盈利用途。
h) 原廠保養:由小米提供的產品原廠保養。
i) 原廠保養期:以官方保養證書或公告所列保養期為準。
j) 閣下/您的:指本服務的購買及使用者。
2. 服務範圍
延長保養服務期間,您可於香港指定小米官方服務中心(旺角、銅鑼灣)享用相關權益(需提前預約)。

延長保養服務:
您有權在原廠保養範圍內(不包括因意外損壞或入水損壞等其他原因造成的損壞或故障)享有無限次維修申請或一次(1次)維修不合乎經濟效益(“BER”)更換服務,該服務適用於自裝置購買/交付日期起12或24個月後的次日起計算,為期十二(12)個月的延長保養服務期。並須符合以下條件:
維修必須由小米官方服務中心專屬執行。
手機裝置必須:
a) 於香港全新購買(自原始購買日期起60天內);
b) 於香港製造/分銷或合法進口至香港;
c) 透過小米授權經銷商/分銷商銷售,並附有發票及原廠保養;
d) 始終依照小米手機使用指南使用,包括但不限於定期維護與保養;
e) 未曾進行任何修改;
f) 僅供個人使用,非用於商業、租賃或盈利目的;
g) 主要由您及您的直系親屬使用,且僅由您(或相關直系親屬)持有。
2.1.3 任何先前對手機裝置的維修必須:
a) 於香港執行;
b) 由小米官方服務中心執行。
原廠保養必須在原廠保養期間內有效,且未因您之任何行為而失效或受影響。
在執行延長保養服務維修時,小米有權自行決定(且不影響本延長保養服務條款)以同款機型替換手機裝置(BER情況下)。被替換的手機裝置(故障機)須歸還小米並成為小米財產。您同意替換後該故障機及其所有權歸小米所有,小米可依其認為合適的方式處理該替換裝置。您需自行負責備份及恢復任何資料至替換手機裝置。小米不承擔因資料遺失或個人資訊洩漏所產生的任何責任。
延長保養服務僅於原廠保養期滿後生效。
購買Xiaomi Care延長保養服務的客戶,可享有此12個月延長保養服務及由Bolttech Insurance(Hong Kong)Company Limited承保的免費24個月意外損壞及入水損壞裝置保險,保險期間自裝置購買或交付日期次日起算,共計24個月,限總共四(4)次理賠。每次理賠維修費用最高以裝置建議零售價或一次(1次)BER更換為限。意外損壞及入水損壞裝置保險申請需由客戶支付自負額。詳情請參閱 https://www.mi.com/hk/support/guidance/xiaomicare-policy
電池更換服務
對於具有一年(1年)原廠保養的行動裝置,當您的行動裝置電池容量低於原始規格的八成(80%)時,您有權在十二個月(12個月)延長保養服務期間內申請更換電池。
對於具有兩年(2年)原廠保養的行動裝置,當該行動裝置的電池容量低於原始規格的六成(60%)時,您有權在十二個月(12個月)延長保養服務期間內申請更換電池。

非涵蓋情況
若發生以下任一情況,您將不符合延長保養服務的資格: 因您故意或疏忽行為導致的小米行動裝置損壞,包括意外損壞或入水損壞; 不影響行動裝置基本功能的配件或消耗品,包括但不限於記憶卡、耳機、充電裝置、數據線、觸控筆等的磨損、損壞或遺失;
電腦病毒、其他惡意代碼或類似指令破壞行動裝置正常功能或導致裝置數據及程式損壞或故障;
行動裝置外觀缺陷及/或外觀損傷,如油漆剝落、刮痕、褪色等;
與行動裝置基本功能無關的數據、程式及軟體的遺失或損壞;
因行動裝置意外損壞所引起的任何間接損失或附帶損失(包括但不限於無法使用
業務損失、利潤損失、數據損失、停工時間及錯過工作所產生的費用等);
您送修的行動裝置型號、IMEI識別碼等被更改、遺失、無法識別或與購買本延長保養服務時記錄不符;
您的行動裝置曾由非官方授權維修點拆解;
行動裝置因被竊、搶劫、遺失等原因整機遺失;
您未在小米書面指定或同意的維修點進行維修或更換;
您的維修或更換申請不在延長保養服務期限或約定的服務限制期限內;
戰爭、敵對行動、軍事行動、武裝衝突、罷工、暴動、騷亂、恐怖活動、行政或司法行為;
颱風、洪水、地震、火山爆發或海嘯、核反應、核輻射或放射性污染;
您未支付申請延長保養服務所需的適用免賠額;
行動裝置用於商業用途、共用、營利用途或多戶家庭共用;
小米產品召回範圍內的任何缺陷;
行動裝置因網路基礎設施、您的網路訂閱或類似服務問題導致無法正常運作;
超過5%涵蓋裝置因共同原因或元件故障而發生的流行性故障。
以下損失或費用不在延長保養服務範圍內:
超出本延長保養服務所列涵蓋範圍之任何維修或費用;
因行動裝置導致您或任何其他人之人身傷害、財產損失及/或任何經濟利益損失;
您因本條款及細則而產生之任何訴訟、仲裁及相關費用;
發生於中華人民共和國香港特別行政區以外之任何損失;
更換任何消耗性零件或配件,例如充電器、耳機等。
其他重要條件
在延長保養服務期間,若因原廠保養下主板更換或您享有的意外損壞及液體損壞免費保險福利而導致行動裝置序號變更,您必須提供官方小米授權維修中心的維修證明或更換證明。若無法提供綁定行動裝置序號或序號變更證明,小米將無法為您提供維修服務。
當您的行動裝置因機械或電器故障而無法正常運作時,您可致電小米服務熱線852-30773620預約維修服務。熱線服務時間為週一至週日(上午9時至下午6時)。申請維修時,請提供購買者資訊(如購買者姓名及聯絡電話)及綁定延長保養服務的行動裝置資訊(品牌、型號、序號)。若未能提供上述資訊,小米有權拒絕接受維修申請及提供維修服務。
小米有權因您未付款或付款失敗而拒絕提供服務,且在此情況下不提供任何形式的賠償。
一旦您成功透過延長保養服務申請更換原小米行動裝置,您不得退回更換裝置
原裝置購買的延長保養服務將自動轉移至更換裝置,您可享有剩餘服務期間內未使用的任何福利。
申請維修服務後,您需於熱線指示的指定預約時間攜帶小米行動裝置前往小米官方服務中心。若錯過預約時間,需致電熱線重新申請維修並提前預約,並於新預約時間攜帶裝置前往官方服務中心。
在延長保養服務過程中,如發現行動裝置曾由非小米指定維修點拆解,小米將不再為您提供任何服務,且不退還購買本延長保養服務的相關費用。
維修時間一般為1至3個工作天。維修完成後,您將收到通知前往香港小米官方服務中心取回裝置。
送修前,請務必關閉小米雲服務並取消裝置開機密碼或使用密碼,否則可能影響延長保養服務。此外,我們無法保證維修過程中您裝置內資料的安全,請提前備份或刪除重要資料、文件、照片等。因未備份或刪除而導致的資料遺失或個人資訊洩漏,您需自行承擔全部責任。
公司擁有維修或更換的備件廢料所有權。若公司發現您有詐欺行為,公司有權拒絕提供任何服務並採取法律行動。
退貨及轉讓政策
您僅於在免費退貨期限內將您的行動裝置退還予小米並獲得小米退還裝置之退款,且您未曾使用本計劃下任何服務權益(包括免費贈送之意外損壞及液體損壞保險權益)時,方可申請退還小米保障延長保養服務之訂閱費用。
若您已使用任何延長保養服務之權益,則在任何情況下均不會退還任何費用。
本延長保養服務計劃僅適用於您於訂購時之歡迎電郵內所載明之行動裝置。此延長保養服務計劃僅可於裝置啟用之日起六十(60)日內購買,該日期即為您購買裝置之日。除本條款及細則另有規定外,延長保養服務不得因任何原因轉讓或移轉至其他裝置。
延長保養服務計劃僅於下列情況下方可轉移至其他裝置:
所收取之行動裝置經小米確認為到貨即損(DOA)並由小米予以更換;
行動裝置因無法修復或維修不合乎經濟效益(BER)而由小米予以更換;
行動裝置根據由 Bolttech Insurance(Hong Kong)Company Limited 承保之意外損壞及液體損壞保險團體保單條款,由小米予以更換。
按前述情況更換之 DOA 行動裝置,其延長保養服務計劃將持續生效,惟您須於七(7)日內致電本公司服務熱線,通知替代裝置之 IMEI 或序號。
若行動裝置符合更新條件,其型號及 IMEI 號碼將相應更新。就此目的而言,「DOA」或「到貨即損」係指:(i)購買時未立即於門市取走而後續配送予您的行動裝置;(ii)於交付時發現完全無法運作;及(iii)立即退回製造商進行更換者。
服務終止
於下列任何情況下,「Xiaomi Care 延長保養服務」將自動終止:
根據您於訂購時所收到之歡迎電郵中所載之服務期滿,延長保養服務即告屆滿;
若與延長保養服務綁定之行動裝置於非小米指定之維修點進行維修或更換;
若與延長保養服務綁定之行動裝置,依據上述延長保養服務條款之規定,已獲得一次(1 次)更換裝置,則相關之延長保養服務權益即告終止;
如發現您故意損壞購買了延長保養服務之行動裝置,延長保養服務將自動終止,而本公司將不退還任何費用。倘若懷疑或發現涉及詐騙行為,本公司保留採取其認為適當之法律行動之權利。
個人資料收集聲明 當您購買延長保養服務並申請維修服務時,您即同意小米收集您的個人資料,包括但不限於您的姓名、行動裝置編號、電郵地址、小米帳戶ID、行動裝置相關資料(如IMEI、型號等)、服務訂單資訊(如自負額、生效時間、開始及結束日期等)、維修申請資訊(如裝置故障、故障部件、故障描述、維修材料詳情、行動裝置故障照片、總費用等),以向您提供您所選擇的相關服務。本公司尊重並保護您的個人私隱,並將按小米統一私隱政測策略 https://www.mi.com/hk/support/terms/ins_statement/
管轄法律、司法管轄權及語言
延長保養服務條款之構成、詮釋及意義,均應依照香港特別行政區之法律加以確定,並且凡由延長保養服務引起或與之有關之任何爭議,應由香港法院專屬管轄並予以解決。
本條款及細則之中文版本僅供參考之用。倘若英文版本與中文版本之間有所差異,應以英文版本為準並具優先效力。

9.維修後個人資料會遺失嗎?
建議您在送修前,先將小米行動裝置上的所有個人資料備份至雲端,並確保您已登出小米帳號並清除本地資料。請注意,一旦您將裝置交付維修,小米不為裝置上的個人資料遺失負責。
10.購買Xiaomi Care後,若行動裝置在原廠保養期內被更換,是否會影響服務使用?
對於透過小米商城及小米之家購買並訂閱Xiaomi Care的行動裝置,原裝置所購買的Xiaomi Care 延長保養服務將自動轉移至新更換的裝置,確保您能持續享有該服務。
11.Xiaomi Care可以取消或轉讓嗎?
除非條款與細則另有說明,Xiaomi Care不可取消或轉讓。
12.在原廠保養期內使用免費意外及入水損壞裝置保險後,是否仍可享有原廠保養?
在原廠保養期內使用免費意外損壞及入水損壞裝置保險後,客戶仍可享有原廠保養的權益。若您的行動裝置經Xiaomi Care更換,若更換裝置存在任何固有缺陷,您將享有七(7)天的產品更換期。更換裝置可享有原廠保養,保養起始日自更換裝置啟用之日起算。
Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service Terms and Conditions
Thank you for purchasing Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service for Your Xiaomi Mobile Device (“Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service” or the “Service”). The Service supports smartphones and tablets (supported models as specified on the https://www.mi.com/hk/support/guidance/xiaomicare-policy, hereinafter referred to as the (“Mobile Device”). The Service is provided by Xiaomi H.K. Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Xiaomi” or “the Company”). Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully. Your purchase of Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service shall be deemed as your acknowledgment and agreement to all Terms and Conditions herein.
Definitions
BER: ‘Beyond Economic Repairs’ means cost of a repair is greater than 100% of the recommended retail price (RRP) of the Mobile Device, which should be evaluated and determined by the Xiaomi official service centers at their sole and final discretion.
Device RRP: The full recommended retail price (RRP) of the Mobile Device when the devices were listed in the market.
Device Purchase Date: The date the device is purchased from Xiaomi Home Stores.
Device Delivery Date: The date the device is delivered to the customer for purchases made on Xiaomi Mall Online Store.
Extended Warranty: The extension of the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty on Mobile Device for a period of twelve (12) months. The Extended Warranty Service commences on the next day after 12 or 24 months from Device Purchase/ Device Delivery date and it covers repairing of inherent mechanical and electrical defects and/or failure of the Mobile Device, subject to the relevant Terms and Conditions contained in the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty and the Terms and Conditions contained herein.
Immediate Family Member: Your spouse and/or children.
Mobile Device: Smartphones and Tablets, models as specified on the https://www.mi.com/hk/support/guidance/xiaomicare-policy, which should be for personal use only and not to be used for commercial, rental, or profit generation purposes.
Original Manufacturer’s Warranty: The original warranty given by Xiaomi in respect of a Mobile Device.
Original Manufacturer's Warranty Period: The uninterrupted period of the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty covers as stated on the official Original Manufacturer’s Warranty certificate or publication.
You/Your: The customer of this Service.

Extended Warranty Service (“EW Service”)
You are entitled to unlimited repair requests or one (1) Beyond Economic Repair (“BER”) Replacement for inherent mechanical and electrical defects and/or failure of the Mobile Device that fall under the scope of the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty (excluding damage or failures caused by other reasons such as accidental damage or liquid damage), for a period of twelve (12) months from the next day after 12 or 24 months from Device Purchase/ Device Delivery date (“Extended Warranty service period”). Subject to the following conditions:
Repair must be performed exclusively by a Xiaomi official service center.
The Mobile Device must:
have been purchased new in Hong Kong (is within 60 days old from original device purchase date);
have been manufactured/distributed in Hong Kong or legally imported into Hong Kong;
have been sold through Xiaomi’s authorized dealer / distributor supported by an invoice & Original Manufacturer’s Warranty;
at all times have been used in accordance with Xiaomi’s guidelines for Mobile Device usage including but not limited to regular maintenance & upkeep of the Mobile Device;
not have been modified at any time;
have been used for personal use only and not for commercial, rental, or profit generation purposes; and
have been mainly used by You and Your Immediate Family Member, and have been in Your possession (or Immediate Family Member as relevant) only.
Any previous repair to the Mobile Device must:
have been performed in Hong Kong; and
have been performed by a Xiaomi official service center.
The Original Manufacturer’s Warranty must remain valid throughout the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty Period and not been voided or affected by any action by You.
In performing EW Service repair, Xiaomi shall have the option in its discretion, and without prejudice to the Terms and Conditions of this EW Service, to replace the Mobile Device with a like-for-like model (in the case of BER). The replaced Mobile Device (the defect unit) shall be returned to Xiaomi and become Xiaomi property. In this case, You agree that the replaced Mobile Device (the defect unit) and its ownership shall belong to Xiaomi after the replacement and Xiaomi may dispose such replaced Mobile Device in a manner deemed suitable by Xiaomi. You will be responsible for backing up and restoring any data You may have from the replaced Mobile Device to the replacement Mobile Device, where relevant. Xiaomi shall not be responsible for any loss of data or leakage of personal information or data on Your Mobile Device.
The EW Service becomes valid only after the expiry date of the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty.
The customers who purchased Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service can enjoy this 12-months Extended Warranty service and a complimentary 24-months Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage device insurance coverage underwritten by Bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited, limited to total four (4) claims for the total protection period of 24-months commences from the next day after Device Purchase or Device Delivery date. With each claim repair up to Device RRP or one (1) BER Replacement. Requests under the Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage device insurance is subject to payment of deductible by customers. Battery Replacement Service (“Battery Replacement”)
For Mobile Device with one (1) year Original Manufacturer’s Warranty, You are entitled to request for battery replacement during the twelve (12) months Extended Warranty service period when the battery capacity of Your Mobile Device to hold an electric charge is less than eighty (80%) of the battery’s original specification.
For Mobile Device with two (2) years Original Manufacturer’s Warranty, You are entitled to request for battery replacement during the twelve (12) months Extended Warranty service period when the battery capacity of the Mobile Device to hold an electric charge is less than sixty (60%) of the battery’s original specification.

Circumstances not covered by "Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service"
In the event of any of the following circumstances, You will not be eligible for the EW Service:
Damage to the Xiaomi Mobile Device caused by Your intentional or negligent behavior, including accidental damage or liquid damage;
Accessories or consumables that do not affect the basic functions of the Mobile Device, including but not limited to wear, tear, damage or loss of memory cards, earphones, charging equipment, data cables, writing pens, etc.;
Computer viruses, other malicious codes or similar instructions that destroy the normal functions of the Mobile Device or cause damage or failure of Mobile Device data and programs;
Defects in the appearance of the Mobile Device and/or cosmetic damages, such as peeling paint, scratches, fading, etc.;
Loss and damage of data, programs and software not required for the basic functions of the Mobile Device;
Any indirect loss or incidental loss caused by accidental damage to the Mobile Device (including but not limited to inability to use, loss of business, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of failure time and cost of missed work, etc.);
The model of the Mobile Device You sent, the IMEI identification code, etc. are altered, missing, unrecognizable or inconsistent with those recorded when purchasing this EW Service;
Your Mobile Device has been disassembled by an unofficial authorized repair shop;
The entire Mobile Device is lost due to theft, robbery, loss, etc.;
You have not repaired or replaced Your Mobile Device at the repair point designated or agreed by Xiaomi in writing;
Your request for repair or replacement is not within the EW Service period or the agreed service limitation period;
Wars, hostilities, military acts, armed conflicts, strikes, riots, riots, terrorist activities, administrative or judicial acts;
Typhoon, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption or tsunami, nuclear reaction, nuclear radiation or radioactive contamination;
You fail to pay the applicable deductible for the service(s) requested under the EW Service;
The Mobile Device is used for commercial use, shared use, for-profit use or used among multiple families.
Any defects that are subject of Xiaomi’s product recall;
Any failure of the Mobile Device to operate as a result of problems with respect to the network infrastructure, Your network subscription or similar service issues;
Epidemic failure for faults from a common cause or component exceeding 5% of covered devices
The following losses or expenses are not within the scope of the EW Service:
Repairs and expenses that exceed the coverage scope included in this EW Service;
Personal injury and/or property loss and/or loss of any economic benefit to You or any other person caused by the Mobile Device;
Any litigation, arbitration and related expenses incurred by You in connection with these Terms and Conditions;
Losses occurring outside Hong Kong SAR of the People's Republic of China.
Replacement of any consumable items or accessories like chargers, headphones, etc.
Other Key Conditions
During the EW service period, if the serial number of Your Mobile Device changes due to motherboard replacement or Mobile Device replacement under Original Manufacturer’s Warranty or Your complimentary Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage device insurance benefits, You must provide a repair certificate or replacement certificate from an official Xiaomi authorized repair center. If You cannot provide the binding Mobile Device serial number or serial number change certificate, Xiaomi will not be able to provide You with repair services.
When Your Mobile Device failed to function due to inherent mechanical or electrical defects, You can call Xiaomi’s service hotline at 852-30773620 to make an appointment for repair service. Service hours of the hotline is Monday to Sunday (9am to 6pm). When applying for repairs, you are requested to provide the purchaser information (such as purchaser name and contact number) and the Mobile Device information (brand, model, serial number) bound to the EW Service. If you fail to provide foresaid information, Xiaomi has the right not to accept the repair request and not to provide repair services.
Xiaomi has the right to not provide services for Your non-payment or failure of payment, and will not provide any form of compensation in such circumstances.
Once You have successfully replaced Your original Xiaomi Mobile Device through a request under the EW Service , You cannot return the replacement device. The EW Service purchased for the original device will be automatically transferred to the replacement device and You will be eligible for any remaining unused benefits for the remaining service period.
After You apply for repair service, You need to bring Your Xiaomi Mobile Device to Xiaomi official service center at the designated appointment time instructed through the hotline. If You miss the scheduled appointment time, You need to call the hotline to re-apply for repair and make a new appointment in advance, and bring Your Xiaomi Mobile Device to Xiaomi official service center at the scheduled appointment time.
During the EW Service process, if it is detected that the Mobile Device has been disassembled by a non-Xiaomi designated repair point, Xiaomi will no longer provide You with any services, and will not refund the relevant fees for purchasing this EW Service.
The repair time is generally 1-3 working days. After the repair is completed, You will be notified to go to the Hong Kong Xiaomi official service center to pick up the Mobile Device.
Before sending Your Mobile Device for repair, please make sure to turn off the Xiaomi Cloud service and cancel the Mobile Device's power-on password or usage password, otherwise it may affect the EW Service. In addition, we cannot ensure the safety of the data in Your Mobile Device during the repair process, so please back up or delete important data, documents, photos, etc. in advance. You are solely responsible for any loss of data or leakage of personal information or data on Your Mobile Device due to failure to back up or delete in advance.
The Company has the right to the ownership of the waste of the spare parts repaired or replaced by the Company.
If the Company finds that You have committed fraud, the Company has the right not to provide any services and to resort to law.
Return and Transfer of Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service
You can apply for a refund of the subscription fees of Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service only if You return Your Mobile Device to Xiaomi within the free to return period and receive a refund from Xiaomi for Your device and if You have not used any service benefits under this plan including the complimentary ADLD insurance benefit.
If You have used any service benefits of EW Service, a refund of any fees will not be provided in any circumstances.
This EW Service plan is only valid for the Mobile Device detailed in the welcome email sent to You upon subscription. This EW Service plan may only be purchased within 60 days from device activation date, which is the day you purchase your device. This EW Service is not assignable or transferable to another device, for any reason, other than in the cases set out in these Terms and Conditions.
The EW Service plan is transferable to another device only in the event of:
the Mobile Device received from Xiaomi being Dead on Arrival (DOA) and being replaced by Xiaomi;
the Mobile Device being replaced by Xiaomi due to its non-repairable state or BER;
the Mobile Device being replaced by Xiaomi under the terms of the Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage device insurance group policy underwritten by Bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited.
The EW Service plan shall continue to cover the DOA replaced Mobile Device provided that You notify us the IMEI or serial number of the substituted Mobile Device by calling our service hotline within 7 days.
The Mobile Device model and IMEI number will be updated accordingly if the Mobile Device is eligible for update. For these purposes, “DOA” or “dead on arrival” refers to a Mobile Device (i) being purchased and not taken immediately from a physical outlet and which is later delivered to You; (ii) upon delivery is found to be completely inoperative; and (iii) is immediately returned to the manufacturer for replacement.
Termination of Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service
In any of the following circumstances, the "Xiaomi Care Extended Warranty Service" will be terminated naturally:
The EW Service has expired according to the service period stipulated in the welcome email send to You upon subscription.
Your Mobile Device bound to the EW Service is repaired or replaced at a repair point not designated by Xiaomi.
If Your Mobile Device bound to the EW Service has received one (1) replacement device according to the provisions of the EW Service stated above, the relevant EW Service benefit will be terminated.
If it is found that You have intentionally damaged the Mobile Device You purchased the EW service for, the EW Service will be automatically terminated and the Company will not refund any fees. If fraud is suspected or detected, the Company reserves the right to take legal action as the Company finds appropriate.
Personal Data Collection Statement
When You purchase the EW Service and apply for repair service, You agree to Xiaomi’s collection of Your personal information including but not limited to Your name, Mobile Device number, Email Address, Xiaomi ID, Mobile Device related information (such as IMEI, model, etc.), service order information (such as deductible, effective time, start and end period, etc.), application for maintenance information (such as device malfunction, malfunction parts, fault description, repair materials details, Mobile Device malfunction pictures, total fees, etc.), etc., to provide You with the corresponding services You choose. We respect and protect Your personal privacy and will protect Your information in accordance with Xiaomi's unified privacy policy(https://www.mi.com/hk/about/privacy). You also agree that part of Your information above may be disclosed, shared, divulged, supplied or transferred to affiliates or third party service providers within or outside Hong Kong (including but not limited to Mobile Device repairers, insurance brokers, insurance companies, insurance service providers etc.), in order to provide You with benefits included in Your subscription including customer communication and related customer surveys. Please be assured that we will only share Your information for legitimate and specific purposes.
Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Language
The construction, interpretation and meaning of the provisions of the EW Service shall be determined in accordance with Hong Kong SAR laws and any disputes arising out of and in connection the EW Service shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Hong Kong.
The Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions is for reference only. In case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall apply and prevail.

What is Xiaomi Care Protection Service?
Xiaomi Care Protection Service is an extended warranty service plan upon expiry of Original Manufacturer’s Warranty, and a complimentary Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage device insurance coverage underwritten by Bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited, exclusive for Xiaomi customers who has purchased a new Xiaomi Mobile Device. Xiaomi Care Protection Service is only applicable to Hong Kong, and the Xiaomi Care Protection Service can only be enjoyed in the respective region of purchase. The relevant Xiaomi mobile devices must be new (is within 60 days old from original device purchase date) genuine products purchased from Hong Kong authorized channels.

Extended Warranty Service with unlimited repair services for mechanical and electrical defects
Free battery replacement when the battery holds less than 60% or 80% capacity of its original specification during EW Service period

When the Mobile Device is accidentally damaged, how can I repair it? When Your Mobile Device has encountered accidental or liquid damage, please bring along Your device to our official service center for inspection and repair within 14 days from the incident date.
Under the Complimentary Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage device insurance coverage underwritten by Bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited, You are entitled to a total of four (4) claims during the total protection period 24 months (limited to two (2) claims per year) commence from the next day after the Device Purchase/ Device Delivery date. In the event that Xiaomi repair center decides that the Mobile Device is irreparable or the cost of repair is beyond economic repair (BER), You shall be entitled to one (1) replacement. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for detailed information.
Will personal data be lost after the repair? It is advisable to create a cloud backup of all personal data on Your Xiaomi Mobile Device before proceeding with repairs. Additionally, ensure that You log out of Your Xiaomi account and clear any local data. Please note that Xiaomi is not responsible for any loss of personal data on Your device once You have handed over Your device for servicing.
After purchasing the Xiaomi Care Protection Service, if the Mobile Device is replaced under the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty, will this affect the use of the service? For Mobile Devices purchased through Xiaomi Mall and Xiaomi Home with Xiaomi Care Protection Service subscription, the Xiaomi Care Protection Service purchased for the original device will be automatically transferred to the new replacement device, ensuring uninterrupted access to this service.
Can the Xiaomi Care Protection Service be withdrawn or transferred?
The Xiaomi Care Protection Service cannot be withdrawn or transferred unless otherwise mentioned in the Terms and Conditions.
After utilizing the Complimentary Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage device insurance within the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty period, can I still enjoy Original Manufacturer's Warranty?
Following the use of the Complimentary Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage device insurance benefit within the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty period, customers may still enjoy the benefits of the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty.
In cases where Your Mobile Device has been replaced under the Xiaomi Care Protection Service, You will be entitled to a seven (7) day product replacement period if there are any inherent defects to Your replacement device. The replacement device is eligible for enjoying the Original Manufacturer's Warranty, with the effective date commencing from the date of activation of the replacement device.
