The VoLTE calling feature doesn't work on the Redmi Note 10 Pro
If you are unable to use the VoLTE (Voice over LTE) calling feature on your Redmi Note 10 Pro, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that your phone's operating system is up-to-date. Software updates often include bug fixes, security patches, and improvements that can address software-level issues;
2. Please note that VoLTE requires that the smartphones on both sides of the call are supported and turned on;
3. Ensure that you are in an area with 4G network coverage. Sometimes, you may not get a 4G signal in certain locations;
4. Check if VoLTE is enabled by going to [Settings] >> [SIM cards & mobile networks] >> choose your SIM card >> turn on [Use VoLTE]. Also, you can go to [Phone] >> navigate to dial >> enter *#*#86583#*#* to enable or disable the VoLTE;
5. Ensure your smartphone prioritizes using 4G or LTE network type, which is necessary for VoLTE. You can go to [Settings] >> [SIM cards & mobile networks] >> choose your SIM card >> [Preferred network type] >> [Prefer LTE];
6. If possible, try using another VoLTE-enabled device with your SIM card or use your smartphone with another VoLTE-enabled SIM card. This can help determine whether the issue lies with the smartphone or the carrier;
7. You can reset network settings by going to [Settings] >> [Connection & sharing] >> [Reset Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and Bluetooth] >> [Reset settings] >> [OK]. Afterward, reconfigure your network settings and check if VoLTE is now functional;
