If one of your Xiaomi Buds 6 earbuds fails to connect to the phone, please refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
1. Check the contact between the non-connecting earbud and the charging case, because poor contact prevents the earbud from being detected and paired. Place both earbuds back into the charging case and ensure the indicator lights up when each earbud is inserted. If the indicator does not light, clean the charging contacts with a dry cloth and re-seat the earbud firmly.
2. Charge the earbuds for at least 10 minutes, as one earbud may have a low battery and shut down while the other remains active. After charging, remove both earbuds from the case and pair them again to restore the connection.
3. Reset the earbuds to factory settings to clear any misaligned Bluetooth pairing information between the left and right earbuds. Place both earbuds into the charging case with the lid open, press and hold the function button for 10 seconds until the orange indicator flashes continuously, then release the button. After the reset completes, pair the earbuds with your phone again.
4. Check whether the silent earbud has been exposed to water or sweat, as liquid ingress can cause a short circuit that prevents connection. The earbuds are rated IP54 for splash resistance, but this protection is not permanent and does not cover liquid immersion damage.
5. If the issue persists after performing all the above steps, please contact your local after-sales service center for further inspection.
