If one earbud of your Xiaomi Buds 6 has no sound, please refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
1. Check the contact between the silent earbud and the charging case, because poor contact prevents pairing and causes only one side to connect. Place both earbuds back into the charging case and ensure the indicator lights up when each earbud is inserted. If the indicator does not light, clean the charging contacts and re-seat the earbud firmly.
2. Charge the earbuds for at least 10 minutes, as one earbud may have a low battery and shut down while the other remains active. After charging, pair them again to restore the connection.
3. Clean the sound outlet and mesh of the silent earbud, because dirt or earwax blocking the speaker can reduce or eliminate sound output. Gently remove debris with a dry soft-bristled brush or cloth.
4. Check the audio balance settings on your phone. Go to [Settings] >> [Accessibility] >> [Hearing] >> [Audio balance] and ensure the left/right volume balance is centered.
5. Reset the earbuds to factory settings. Place both earbuds into the charging case with the lid open, press and hold the function button for 10 seconds until the orange indicator flashes continuously, then release the button. After the reset completes, pair the earbuds with your phone again.
6. Check whether the earbuds have been exposed to water or sweat, as liquid ingress can cause a short circuit that results in one side losing sound. The earbuds are rated IP54 for splash resistance, but this protection is not permanent and does not cover liquid immersion damage.
7. If the issue persists after performing all the above steps, please contact your local after-sales service center for further inspection.
